Introducing Hiver Shared Labels

Hiver shared labels are primarily designed to facilitate collaboration on specific conversations rather than a complete inbox or a Google group. Simply create a Hiver label with the members that you'd like to share conversations with. And whenever this label is applied to conversations, everyone will be able to view and collaborate on them. Here are a few examples of how teams can leverage Hiver shared labels-

  1. Categorize your emails and create repositories for your clients/projects/vendors etc.- You can create dedicated shared labels for each of your clients and ensure everyone in your team has the complete context on the past interactions with this client. Either members can manually apply Hiver labels on conversations or can leverage Gmail rules to automatically apply labels such that they are shared with everyone in your team
  2. Work with sub-teams on various projects and maintain confidentiality–You can create dedicated shared labels for individual projects and only add relevant people such that the conversations remain confidential to them. This is extremely useful for Financial, Law, or HR teams where the conversations are highly confidential and each case/project might have a different sub-team working on it
  3. Create an internal knowledge base– You can use shared labels for watercooler conversations across your organization or maintain an internal knowledge base on HR/Financial policies etc.

Get started by heading over to the Hiver admin panel to create your first shared label. Refer to this detailed guide to know more.
